Hundreds of demonstrators surrounded the White House this Saturday with a long red banner, under the slogan ‘people’s red line’, to protest against the foreign policy of the U.S. government and demading the total liberation of the Palestinian occupied territories.

Demostrators use the huge red banner in allusion to a deadly Israeli attack on the Gazati city of Rafah to which the White House referred that its main ally in the Middle East had not “crossed the red line” that Biden had seemingly set two months earlier when asked about a potential invasion of the southern Gazan city.

Despite local media says the US president Joe Biden is not inside the executive’s headquarter, that have no stopped the demostrators, who claim for an inmediat end to the Israeli siege in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and wat more to be done to stop the genocide.

Reuters news agency says that the protest gathered people frome the Code Pink Group and the Council on American Islamic Relation. In general, activists condemned Biden for not withholding military aid to Israel in the midst of his offensive in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The protesters also held a carried a huge Palestinian flag while chanted in unison: “Freedom to Palestine.” Also holded Palestinian flags and placards reading “Free Palestine,” “Hands off Gaza,” and “Ceasefire now.”

June 8, the Israel carried out on Saturday a rescue operation of four Israeli hostages alive in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, where at least 210 Gazans were killed and more than 400 injured while the military operation.

Last week, Time Megazine asked Joe Biden during an interview on Tuesday if he thinks Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “prolonging the war for his own political self-preservation,” to which he answered: “I’m not going to comment on that. There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion.”
