Casa de las Américas de Cuba will once again become the home of exquisite harmonies, this time with a concert next Friday by the Cuban singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia, who will present her new album “Canciones que no se extraviaron” (Song That Were Not Lost).

The Che Guevara Room of the Havana-based cultural institution will host the musicality of the performer, who assured in an interview that it is a group of songs with very diverse destinations but that she had never recorded and they have finally found their home.

The title of her latest album “paraphrases the great Dulce María Loynaz, Cervantes Prize winner, in her book “Cartas de ella que no se extraviaron,” as a tribute to her.”

The singer-songwriter, a member of Cuba’s so-called New Song Movement, offers in the album 12 songs.

The recital, scheduled for 6:00 p.m., local time, is part of the program of the 9th Encuentro Alma Creadora, a project created and led by the artist, who has an extensive discography.
