The Russian President asked Erdogan to convey words of sincere condolences and support to the families and relatives of the victims, and his wishes for a speedy recovery to all those affected by the disaster.

In his message to al-Assad, Putin also expressed his “sincere condolences for the tragic consequences of the earthquake.”

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Pazarcik region in Turkey’s Kahramanmaras province on Monday.
