Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday confirmed the Ukrainian Government's involvement in the terrorist attacks on Russia, including the one on the Crocus City Hall, where 144 people were killed.
According to reports on how the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall has made progress, “it is already obvious that there was a Ukrainian trace,” Lavrov said during a meeting with foreign ambassadors at the Russian Diplomatic Academy.
The head of Russian diplomacy recently sent an official demand to Ukrainian authorities to take immediate steps to stop all support for terrorist activities, extradite those responsible, and compensate for damages.
“We demand that Kiev complies with its obligations embodied in the United Nations conventions.”
Lavrov recalled the car explosion that killed journalist Darya Dugina on August 20, 2022, and a blast at a St. Petersburg café that killed military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky on April 2, 2023.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the organizers of those terrorist attacks were the Ukrainian special services and their agents abroad.
