International experts to travel to Ukraine after Russian warning

Moscow, Oct 26 (Prensa Latina) The Russian representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulianov, said Tuesday that experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will go to Ukraine to carry out inspections.
According to Ulianov, in the next few days several IAEA experts will go to Kiev and Zholtie Vodi, due to Russia’s warnings about the preparation in Ukraine of a ‘dirty bomb’, Rossiya 24 channel noted Tuesday.
The diplomat added that during the visits samples will be taken for analysis, and in a little more than a week the preliminary results of these investigations will be announced.
The day before, IAEA Director Rafael Grossi announced in a statement that IAEA inspectors are preparing to visit two nuclear facilities in Ukraine in the coming days after receiving reports of suspicious activity at these facilities.
On October 23, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu expressed concern to his counterparts from France, Turkey and the United Kingdom about a possible provocation by Kiev by detonating such an explosive.
On Monday, media reported that U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated in his telephone conversation with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov that Washington rejects Moscow’s warnings about Kiev.
