Cienfuegos Advances on 21.8 MW Solar Park, Targeting January 31st Connection
In Cienfuegos province, work is advancing on its fourth Solar Photovoltaic Park, located in the Pepe Rivas area. The 21.8 MW facility is committed to being delivered by January 31st for synchronization with the National Electroenergetic System.

Rapid Construction with Chinese Technology
Yoandi Alfonso Cruz, head of this construction project, which utilizes technology from the People's Republic of China and involves an investment of 1.15 billion pesos, assured this journalist that it is the fastest-completed park to date. The workforce has exceeded 300 workers, with a significant contribution from the No. 37 Architectural Construction Works Company (ECOA 37).

"This is the second park I have worked on," he states. "I worked on the one in Mal Tiempo, where I was in charge of the construction. After that, we came here, and we have an excellent team; this company has had to fulfill missions in other provinces. All the workers are aware of the importance of this type of project."

Continuous Work and Worker Compensation
They work every day of the week, and the average salary for each worker ranges around 30,000 pesos monthly.

"We are happy and satisfied with the result of the effort we have made," he added.

Expansion of Solar Energy in the Province
He highlights that the parks in Alcalde Mayor, La Yuca, and Mal Tiempo are already operational in Cienfuegos. Work recently began on the Juraguá park, and plans are underway to construct four additional parks and a substation in the Cumanayagua area.
