The European Union: says one thing, does the opposite…Following orders?

Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla strongly rejected the most recent statements from Josep Borrell, head of the Foreign Affairs helm and High Representative of the E.U., regarding the civil unrest that took place in Cuba on July 11th.
Rodríguez Parrilla was adamant when he stated that Mr. Borrell lies and manipulates when talking about Cuba; while pointing out that High Representative may well focus on the brutal police repression taking place at the E.U.
In his Twitter profile, the Cuban FM added that issued a statement in which he did not dare to mention by name the genocidal economical, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. on Cuba which violates the European sovereignty while imposing on them its laws and courts.
"I strongly reject the statement of the EU High Representative in which he does not dare to mention by name the genocidal U.S. blockade that violates European sovereignty and imposes on its laws and courts. On #Cuba, he lies and manipulates. He could also deal with brutal police repression in the E.U.," posted the head of the Cuban diplomacy.
On the other hand, the Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said that this stance is another sign of the E.U.'s support to the Empire interventionist farce against the Caribbean nation.
“It is unbelievable that the High Representative of the E.U. did not mention the cruel and genocidal blockade. He lies, defames and supports the interventionist farce against #Cuba. Is it lack of courage or just submission? #CubaNoEstaSola #EliminaElBloqueo y #VeremosCómoTocamos”, posted the Cuban President.
Ironically, in statements issued on July 14th, the High Representative of the E.U. Josep Borrell did mention the U.S. blockade by name.
What happened, then? Did the Commissioner suffer from bouts of amnesia or he just kneeled on the pressure exerted by the U.S. government, whose goal is to dominate the world, to submit Cuba and therefore, please the new “allies” within the Trumpist mafia based in Miami?
