This was confirmed by the Director of Negotiations, Odalys M. Llópiz Pardo.

"According to the identified needs and the lines of foreign trade, ETECSA imports everything that is centralized to distribute in the national territory," said the official, and assured that for this reason from the main venue of the event in Pavilion 14 of ExpoCuba, in Havana, this entity is committed to creating ties and finding interesting opportunities to "add suppliers to the business portfolio."

The department in charge of foreign trade at ETECSA “manages directly with merchandise suppliers, and ensures that new products enter the company and continue the approval process. We are talking about all kinds of supplies or services, either cables, mobiles, telecommunication equipment, even generators, uniforms and accessories for the safety and health of workers”.

“For several years, this department has been working to strengthen the national industry, and for this reason, local suppliers are also sought, whether they are state-owned companies or private entrepreneurs. At present, those that offer computer programming services stand out, since in a telecommunication entity you have to advance together with technological development,” said Llópiz Pardo.

After the hiatus forced by Covid-19 pandemic that brought economic difficulties to Cuba, and the world, this edition is vital for ETECSA to reunite with new proposals for supplies or systems. “FIHAV 2022 is the right framework to establish partnerships and obtain good results that contribute to the national economy,” she said.
