Díaz-Canel praises progress in immunization against Covid-19

Havana, March 24 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel praised on Wednesday the country's progress in immunizing the population against Covid-19 with the use of vaccine candidates produced by the national biotechnology industry.

On Twitter, the head of State highlighted that, between clinical trials and controlled intervention studies, thousands of Cubans receive doses of Soberana-02 and Abdala, opening the way to mass vaccination.

"Dream on and continue a country: this year, we will advance immunization with our vaccines!" he added.

In another tweet, Diaz-Canel thanked those who created and those who produce the immunogens "because they not only inject our body," but they also sow "security and hope in the national soul."
