Díaz-Canel congratulates Ralph Gonsalves and wishes him a speedy recovery

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulated on Sunday the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, on the occasion of his 75th birthday and wished him a speedy recovery after receiving a concussion to his head.

The Cuban head of state congratulated the Caribbean leader.on Twitter. "From Cuba, we send you a big hug and wishes for a speedy recovery," the president said.

Last August 5, a group of opposition demonstrators threw stones at Gonsalves and his entourage in the middle of a protest against new measures to curb COVID-19 contagions.
