Cuba’s stand opened at international fair in Bolivia

Bolivian Minister of Rural Development and Lands Remmy Gonzalez, and Cuban Deputy Minister of Agriculture Rodolfo Rodriguez attended on Saturday the opening of Cuba’s stand in FEXPOCRUZ 2023.

Danilo Sanchez, Cuban ambassador in Bolivia, posted on X social media that the Cuban exhibition at the International Fair of Santa Cruz, FEXPOCRUZ stresses the “significant biopharmaceutical products” created by Cuban scientists.

Gonzalez and Rodriguez alongside their respective delegations discussed the progress of bilateral cooperation programs, particularly the one on soybean production in Cuba.

Sanchez referred that the sides analyzed the good Bolivian experience in this area, as well as the acquisition of Bolivian genetic material for large and small livestock.

On the other hand, the Bolivian minister attended the International Agricultural Fair in Havana in April 2023; by that time, he assured Prensa Latina that collaboration with Cuba in this sector benefits both nations in the area of food production.
