Havana, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban State is not stopping in the search for solutions to needs in the country's neighborhoods, Deputy Prime Minister Inés María Chapman said.

In the communities there are elements that have accumulated over time due to the impossibility of providing immediate solutions.

Based on her previous experience in the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, the official said that there is still a lot to be done in terms of infrastructure, water supply and sanitation in Cuban neighborhoods.

However, she told the national television program Ruta 10 that progress has been made in some places, but not in all of them.

She also mentioned that the housing issue is another accumulated problem due to the financial deficit and the blockade that limits the country’s progress.

Social development, she said, goes hand in hand with infrastructure because the person is transformed to the extent that the place where he lives does.
