Cuban President highlighted renovation of Cultural Center in Havana

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Friday highlighted the renovation of the Cultural Technological Center in the neighborhood of La Corbata, in Playa municipality, Havana.

During a tour of its surroundings, the head of State verified the actions that are being undertaken there and that benefit local development, the Presidency of the Republic reported on Twitter

The president noted that the transformation of the Center, which houses playgrounds for children, libraries, and movie theaters, is incredible.

Díaz-Canel visited the Combiomed company, a manufacturer of medical technology founded in April 1969, an idea of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.

He also toured the Juan de Dios Fraga neighborhood, in the municipality of La Lisa, where several social works are being carried out with the contribution of the profits from the BioCubaFarma business group.

The rehabilitation actions in the community, severely damaged by Hurricane Ian in late September, included the community school, the doctor’s office, the warehouse, the pharmacy, roads, and other areas. (Source: PL)
