Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel held a meeting today, Monday, with the secretary general of the National Regeneration Movement Party (Morena), Carolina Rangel.
On his X account, the Cuban president reported that during their dialogue, they exchanged views on the excellent relations of the Mexican political organization with the Communist Party of Cuba and the importance of continuing to deepen them in this new stage.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel arrived in Mexico on Sunday to participate in Tuesday's inauguration of Claudia Sheinbaum, the first female president of the northern nation.
As part of his activities on Mexican soil, Díaz-Canel met with Cuban doctors, businesspeople, diplomats and other collaborators who work in that nation.
The president updated those present on the complex situation on the Caribbean island and the strategies that the Cuban Communist Party and the Government have in place to reverse distortions and move forward.
The National Regeneration Movement Party was created in 2011 as a civil association dedicated to promoting democracy and defending Mexico's sovereignty.
