Cuban friends celebrate National Rebellion Day (+ Photo)

Cienfuegos, Cuba, Jul 26 (Prensa Latina) Members of the 32nd Pastors for Peace Friendship Caravan, the Juan Rius Rivera and Venceremos brigades as well as the Socialism and Liberation Party also participated -alongside the Cuban people- in the political act for the National Rebellion Day.

Cienfuegos province hosts the 69th anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks, two deeds conducted in 1953 by young people and led by the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, whose purpose was to overthrow dictator Fulgencio Batista.

Cuban scientists and doctors, who fought the Covid-19 pandemic, also attended the act held at Cienfuegos´s main square.
