Cuban Flag Raised at Legislative Building in Ontario

A Cuban flag was hoisted at the Legislative Building of the Canadian province of Ontario during a ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, diplomatic sources reported today.

The commemoration ceremony, organized by the Consulate General of Havana in Toronto, was attended by important authorities of that region, a diplomatic press release indicated.
Members of the Cuban community in the northern nation, representatives of the diplomatic and consular corps, members of organizations in solidarity with Cuba and members of Canadian political parties were also present at the ceremony.
