Cuba wins bronze medal at Caribbean Baseball Cup

The Cuban team, made up of young talents, defeated San Martin 2-1 and won the bronze medal at the sixth edition of the Caribbean Baseball Cup that concluded in this capital on Monday.
 
 
The team, coached by Alexander Urquiola, lost to Curaçao in the last game of the group phase on Sunday, and missed the opportunity to defend the crown they won last year.

On Monday afternoon, at the André Rodgers Stadium, Cuba connected a total of six hits, three of them by Darian Palma, and benefited from the good work of their pitchers, to climb onto the podium and take that consolation prize home.
