Caracas, Feb 8 (Prensa Latina) The secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Sacha LLorenti, noted on Monday that Cuba plays a vital role in the fight against Covid-19 in the world.

'I do not use that expression lightly, it is just that Cubans not only save lives, but also thanks to the development of science and technology they already have their vaccine candidates, which they are going to produce for their population and help the neediest countries,' highlighted Llorenti in statements offered to Prensa Latina.

Faced with the global crisis marked by the pandemic, we see the immense solidarity and sisterhood of that country, the map of the world is marked by the great deployment of its doctors and that speaks of the moral, ethical and humanism stature of its Revolution, of the example bequeathed by Fidel Castro and the principles of ALBA-TCP.

Llorenti assured Prensa Latina news agency that Cuba along with Nicaragua and Venezuela are the countries with the best management of the Covid-19 pandemic in Latin America, and urged the rest of the nations to learn from the successful lessons of those countries in the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

'If we compare those countries' results with the outcomes of other similar countries in terms of population and size within the region, we can see that the differences are huge despite the fact that the mainstream media mainly for political reasons do not praise those achievements,' he pointed out.
