Cuba, Vietnam urge for strengthening partisan relations

Havana, Aug 24 (Prensa Latina) Representatives of the Communist Parties of Cuba and Vietnam on Wednesday reaffirmed their willingness to strengthen the existing brotherly relations between both organizations and nations.
Such commitment was ratified during a meeting between the Head of the Ideological Department of Cuba´s Central Committee of the Communist Party (PCC) Rogelio Polanco and Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and first Vice-President of Education and Propaganda Commission.
According to national television, Polanco thanked all Vietnam´s solidarity with Cuba in recent days, which included messages and donations after the large-scale fire that broke out in the western city of Matanzas, last August 5.
Vietnamese leader, on the other hand, expressed his country’s willingness to continue strengthening ties of brotherhood with Cuba and reaffirmed his nation’s support in face of the U.S. blockade.
