Cuba signs collaboration agreement with Catalonia

Cuba renewed the Collaboration Agreement with the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia, at the conclusion of a business visit to Spain that was described as "fruitful".
The Island delegation was led by the president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricarte, who participated in two forums with the association of industrial companies and with the General Council of the Chamber of Catalonia.
Carricarte also visited Barcelona Building Construmat Fair, devoted to construction.
He met earlier with colleagues in his field in Spain, including the Secretary of State for Commerce, Xiana Méndez, and the president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi.
The Cuban functionary participated in the 33rd session of the Cuba-Spain Binational Business Committee, at the headquarters of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, along with the Cuban ambassador, Marcelino Medina.
Spanish businessmen expressed interest in establishing solid economic-commercial cooperation with Cuba in different areas.
