Havana, Oct 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Thursday reported two new Covid-19 cases, no patients admitted to intensive care units, and no deaths due to complications from the disease, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

This decreasing trend in the number of confirmed cases is due to the control and management of the disease, as well as to the mass immunization strategy with Cuba’s homemade vaccines, among other factors, according to experts.

So far, Cuba has accumulated 1,111,265 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020.

According to MINSAP, 15 patients are still in hospitals with a stable clinical evolution.

The report added that in the 24 hours two patients were discharged from hospitals, for a total of 1,102,661 people recovered patients.
