Cuba reports four Covid-19 cases, no deaths

The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) on Thursday reported four Covid-19 cases, so the total number of active cases is 42.

According to the closing report on April 5 at midnight, nine patients were discharged, so he number of recovered patients reached 1,104,243.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,112,874 citizens have been infected with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.

No deaths were reported, so the death toll remains at 8,530, according to MINSAP, which added that 90.7 percent of the country’s population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,714,846 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
