Cuba reports 97 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Havana, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Saturday reported 97 new Covid-19 cases, six patients admitted in ICUs and no deaths.

2,166 samples were analyzed at the Molecular Biology labs to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP, in Spanish) reported.

Out of 445 active cases reported in the country, 439 have shown a stable clinical progress, while six patients are reported seriously-ill in ICU.

After 107 medical discharges, the country´s overall recovery toll amounted to 1,098,952.

According to MINSAP, no deaths have been so far reported, so Cuba´s total death toll remains at 8,529.
