Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez rejected "the propaganda and communication hysteria unleashed by the United States government against Russia."

Through his Twitter account, the Foreign Minister assured that Cuba firmly opposed "to the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to the borders of that brother country."

Recently, the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, threatened a “swift, severe and united” response in the event of a Russian invasion to Ukraine, an accusation repeatedly denied by Moscow.

Harris, who delivered the opening speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, referred to the "far-reaching financial sanctions and export controls" that will be imposed on the Eurasian nation.

With an alarmist tone, the deputy president stated that "since the end of the Cold War, this forum had not reconvened in such terrible circumstances."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called the West's media coverage of the "ghost war" against Ukraine informational terrorism.
