Cuba today presented its tourist benefits in the diving area at the Moscow Drive Show, which brings together specialists in this branch of the leisure industry.
Tourism counselor of Cuba’s embassy in Russia, Cristina León, explained to Prensa Latina that at the fair, participants will present experiences in underwater fishing, apnea, underwater photography, sailing, surfing, and diving.
“Due to its geographical conditions, Cuba is a territory with incomparable richness for the practice of aquatic activities, that is why this event allows us to show our clients our novelties every year,” the diplomat explained.
Leon also praised the tourism links, especially in this area, of Cuba with Russia’s Siberian Diving and Cuba’s Marlin Marinas and Nautical Company, an agreement that is now in its second year of operation in the resorts of Varadero and Cayo Coco.
Likewise, representatives of Cuban hotel chains and travel agencies showed the current possibilities in Cuban Caribbean waters to those interested in diving.
