Cuba: NATO´s military spending threatens world peace

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in its pretensions to impose its global domination increases military expenditures and creates new threats to international peace and security, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said on Saturday.

On X, the Cuban foreign minister stressed that NATO is intending to limit the economic progresses of developing countries, by endangering the historical dominance of the United States and its allies.

Recently, Rodriguez strongly condemned the excessive surge in world military spending, which reached a historic record of US$ 2.44 trillion in 2023.
