Cuba and Guatemala express willingness to strengthen ties

Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, and his Guatemalan counterpart, Mario Bucaro, expressed today their common willingness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Cuban diplomat highlighted on Twitter the meeting where they discussed the promotion of economic, commercial and cooperation links in fields of mutual interest for both countries.
On Thursday, the Guatemalan representative met with Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, on the occasion of the 6th International Cooperation Conference of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), which is being held in Havana.
Bucaro, who is chair of the ACS Council of Ministers, expressed his gratitude for the organizational efforts made by the island to guarantee the holding of this event and confirmed the commitment of the participants in favor of boosting cooperation in the Greater Caribbean region.
