Actors Emma Suarez and Asier Etxeandia read the list of the final nominations, selected out of 143 films in competition.

Also competing for Best Picture is “Un Dia Perfecto” by Fernando Leon de Aranoa, with eight nominations in total, “A Cambio De Nada” with six nominations, and “Truman,” which has also received six nominations.

All except “A Cambio De Nada” are also nominated for Goya best director award.

Asier Etxeandia was excited to read his own name on the list of nominees for best actor for “La Novia,” competing against Peter Casablanc for the film “B,” Luis Tosar for “El desconocido” and Ricardo Darin for “Truman.”

As for the best actress, Inma Cuesta is nominated for “La Novia,” Penelope Cruz for “Ma ma,” Juliette Binoche for “Nadie quiere la noche” and Natalia de Molina for “Vestido de novia.”

The ceremony is to be held on Feb. 6 in Madrid.
