Latido, next choreography by Lizt Alfonso Ballet Company

It is not a musical, but a dance show, told the press Lizt Alfonso, founder of the ballet company, who also commented that this work recreates life and death as a sort of spiral or cycle.

Among the closest projects, the dance company intends to carry out several international tours to Canada, United States, Mexico, Netherlands, Belgium and other countries where it has never performed.

Moreover, from April 10 to 26, 2015, the show Alas will be shown at Havana’s Martí Theater, after having been presented during the opening performance of the legendary Coliseum. In May, it will move to Milanés Theater, in Western province of Pinar del Río.

Meanwhile, next summer, the ballet company will carry out intensive courses for dancers and dance students of all ages, who will have the chance of exchanging and increasing their knowledge; a program that includes different performances on Havana stages.

The Lizt Alfonso Ballet Company has shared with other prestigious dance groups such as Cuba's National Ballet, the Scala de Milán Ballet, the National Folk Ensemble, Buena Vista Social Club, among others.
