Eurowings to fly to Havana starting tomorrow

MINTUR (Cuba´s Ministry of Tourism) reported today that German airline Eurowings will initiate its scheduled weekly flights to Havana tomorrow.

The statement adds that the opening flight will take place on Thursday as part of a company strategy to strengthen its tourism and commercial links with Cuba Destination.

MINTUR also added the weekly flights will take place each Thursday covering the route Colony-Bonn-Havana by means of Airbus A300, with 298 seats.

This new bet of Eurowings on Cuba must be added to the already existing route of such company to Varadero and boosts the German market in the island.
