Damascus, Dec 19 (Prensa Latina) The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has sent a diplomatic note to the United Nations and the President of the Security Council asking them to implement their resolutions against terrorism, according media reports.
The document refers to the use of an eight-year-old girl to carry explosives to attack a police station in Damascus in which three people were killed and several were injured last Friday.
'The use of children and adolescents by terrorist organizations, in Syria, to achieve their inhuman purposes, shows that those who sponsor them do not care about lives,' the text indicates.
'These terrorist practices, which counter the Convention on the Rights of the Child, should persuade countries that support the armed forces in Syria, particularly France, Great Britain and the United States and its regional allies such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to stop their support immediately,' it added.
