Damascus, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) The Syrian Army General Command today condemned terrorist groups who attacked areas of Naryab, in Aleppo with toxic gases, injuring dozens.

'This terrorist aggression comes after the victories gained by the Syrian Army in southern and western Aleppo, which caused great losses to the terrorist groups and thwarted their attempts to break the siege imposed on the eastern neighborhoods,' said a statement released by authorities.

According to the statement, this month, armed militants launched mortar shells with toxic substances containing chlorine in Hamdania, Asad and Menyan districts, resulting in more than 50 cases of asphyxiation poisoning, among other serious injuries.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a statement rejecting the conclusions of the Executive Board of the International Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), who said that the Syrian government had launched the chemical weapons. The statement argued that the report's conclusions were biased and represented the opinions of a certain group of countries.

According to the Bashar al-Assad Government, the report condemns Syria for allegedly using chemical weapons without reliable data and evidence and without input from Syria or Russia.
