Disabling of candidates to elections in Bolivia will be notified

La Paz, Feb 17 (Prensa Latina) The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) of Bolivia will notify on Monday to the political organizations which of the candidates have been definitely excluded from the elections scheduled for next May 3rd.
Salvador Romero, President of the TSE, told the press that following the closure of amendments to the observations of the lists of candidates in February 12th, it was proceeded to review the candidates' files.
Romero stated that once the organizations have been notified, a new deadline will be opened for the replacement of candidates, where needed.
He added that the political parties must take care in the replacements to guarantee a parity and alternation in the postulates.
According to Romero, who was designated by the self-proclaimed President Jeanine Añez, the definitive disabling was preceded by a process where at least 365 candidates were left out due to an alleged breach of legal requisites.
