Roel Santos and Yurisbel Gracial debut in Can-AM

LF Roel Santos drove in the go-ahead run on an RBI double and 2B Jonathan Malo (pictured) added insurance with an RBI single of his own in the bottom of the eighth inning to propel Quebec to a 7-5 win over rival Trois-Rivieres. The Capitales’ offense was buoyed by 1B Jordan Lennerton, who went 2-for-3, including an RBI single in the third. RHP Shaun Ellis picked up the win in relief for Quebec, allowing two unearned runs and striking out two in two innings.

For Trois-Rivieres, 1B Daniel Mateo went 3-for-5 an RBI single and his first double of the season.
