Across the southern border of Lebanon, the Zionist army of Israel launched what they called a “limited ground incursion,” all without leaving the siege of cities by air force and artillery.

The start of the operation began hours ago, although no entry into Lebanese soil has been recorded to date, while the Hizbollah Resistance Movement is continuing its military actions against Israeli movements threatening its territory.

«In accordance with the decisions of the political leaders, a few hours ago the IDF launched limited ground raids (…) against terrorist targets and Hizbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon», the Israeli army said in a statement on Telegram.

The Israeli side also claims that “the operation has been approved by the relevant Security Council and political body”.

On this day, the cities of southern Lebanon witnessed intense overflights by Israeli aircraft that attacked numerous cities in the south of the country, and Beirut (capital).

Authorities also indicate that the number of deaths in the last 24 hours in Lebanon amounted to 95 and the number of injuries to 172, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Since 8 October, Israel and Lebanon have been engaged in an undeclared war after the Lebanese Resistance Movement, Hezbollah, attacked areas of northern Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian movement Hamas, after Israel declared a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

In recent weeks there has been a notable escalation of actions by both sides, with Israel carrying out attacks where it has killed senior Hizbullah officials, such as the leader of the Shiite movement, Hassan Nasralah.

Since 23 September, Israel’s attacks on Lebanon have left, according to the United Nations, at least 700 dead, thousands injured and more than a million Lebanese displaced.
