Wrestlers Orta and Pino are in Europe

Havana, January 9 (RHC)-- Cuban wrestlers Luis Orta (67 kg) and Oscar Pino (130 kg) will cover a training base in Norway until January 19, according to the National Wrestling Commission on Monday.

Then, the same source indicated, they will participate in the Grand Prix of Nice, in France, which will mark their international debuts this season.

After that, Orta - Olympic champion in the 60 kg in Tokyo 2020 - and Pino - world multi medalist - will cover another preparation base in Croatia, prior to the ranking series scheduled in Zagreb from February 1 to 5.

Upon their return to the island, they will take part in the Cerro Pelado-Granma tournament in mid-February, if the required international participation is achieved.

The Cuban wrestling family begins a campaign of great demands, hence the best possible critical route is outlined.

Among the crucial moments of the year are the Central Caribbean and Pan American Games and the World Championship of the discipline.
