Venezuelan president wished Diaz-Canel a happy birthday

Caracas, April 20 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro sent a congratulatory message to Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, the Venezuelan head of state wished success to his counterpart of the nation in leading the social project promoted by the Cuban Revolution.

"From Venezuela, I send an embrace full of affection and good wishes to Brother President Miguel Díaz-Canel.  May Almighty God guide and accompany his path and his struggles for the construction of the world we dream of," Maduro said on Twitter.

The governments of Cuba and Venezuela maintain close ties of strategic scope in the political, social and economic spheres, within the framework of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).
