Solidarity Meeting with Cuba gets underway

Havana, April 30 (RHC)-- - As it has become customary in the context of the celebration of May Day in Cuba, the International Meeting of Solidarity with the Caribbean island got underway Friday in virtual format due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus that is sweeping the planet.
The forum is hosted by the Cuban Trade Union Federation (CTC) and is connected with workers' centers, progressive organizations, social, youth, feminist, peasant, religious, and intellectual movements.
The main theme of the virtual meeting, which will close on May 1, is the Battle against the U.S. Blockade of Cuba, on which some 80 personalities from all over the world have confirmed their interventions.
United: We Make Cuba is the central motto of the International Meeting of Solidarity with the island, and it is dedicated to the historical leader of the Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
