Saharawi president sends message of support to Cuba

Havana, Aug 8 (Prensa Latina) The president of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, sent a message of solidarity and support to the Cuban people on Monday, after the fire in the Supertanker Base that started on Friday in the industrial zone of the city of Matanzas.

In a letter addressed Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, the Saharawi leader expressed his solidarity and support for those affected and their families after the incident that so far left one person dead and 16 missing.

Ghali added that his country feels as his own the pain of the victims and their loved ones.

He conveyed his expressions of encouragement and strength at these difficult times and his conviction that the Cuban people will overcome the consequences of the accident caused by a lightning that hit the Supertanker Base in Matanzas.
