Russian Government to consider regular supplies to Cuba

Moscow, Oct 7 (RHC) The office of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said Thursday his government will consider Cuba's proposal on regular shipments to the country of oil, fertilizers, and wheat.
The Russian official referred to the issue after a working meeting with the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, which took place on the eve of the 19th meeting of the Russian-Cuban Intergovernmental Commission, TASS news agency reported.
During the meeting, the issue of switching to settlements in Russian rubles was also raised.
Chernyshenko instructed to determine a deadline within which a joint working group with the participation of the financial and economic secretariats of the two countries will work on this issue

The relevant ministries, departments, and organizations will be responsible for further elaboration of all issues discussed at the meeting within the framework of the relevant working groups of the intergovernmental commission, Moscow added.
