Russia and China sign space cooperation program

Moscow, Dec 29 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Space Agency (RosCosmos) and the China National Space Administration (CNSA) signed a cooperation program, to last until 2027, the Russian agency reported.
RosCosmos also stated that the governments of both countries signed an agreement to cooperate in the creation of the International Lunar Research Station (ISIL), an initiative already reported by the general director of the state corporation, Yuri Borisov.
Both parties ratified an agreement to guarantee the complementarity of the Glonass and Beidou global navigation satellite systems.
Contracts were signed earlier, in September, to build three Russian stations in the Chinese cities of Changchun, Urumqi and Shanghai, and three Chinese stations in the Russian cities of Obninsk, Irkutsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the state corporation added.
RosCosmos and the CNSA presented the ISIL roadmap at the Global Conference on Space Exploration in 2021.
