Moscow, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) The review of the agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh will be the main issue at the talks to be held on Wednesday between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Armenian counterpart, Ara Aivazian, who is visiting this city, local media reported on Tuesday.

The diplomats will analyze topics of the bilateral, regional and international agenda, especially the implementation of the agreements reached by the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, according to the website of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They will also discuss the provision of humanitarian aid, the reconstruction of the infrastructure and the unblocking of transport communications in the region.

On January 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin, his Azerbaijani counterpart, Iljam Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pashynian created a tripartite group to resolve pending matters regarding the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

After a meeting in this capital that lasted more than three hours, the three leaders agreed to implement paragraph nine of the joint declaration of November, 2020, to put an end to the fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan in that mountainous region.

The paragraph deals about unblocking all economic and transport connections in Nagorno-Karabakh, as proposed by the Russian president, the official document of the meeting noted.

The document specified that, no later than March 1, the experts will present a timeline for the implementation of measures related to the restoration and construction of new transport infrastructure facilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
