President Díaz-Canel receives Russian business delegation

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Wednesday received Russian businessmen to follow up on agreements reached in Moscow past November.

The Cuban leader praised the accelerated business progress. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, and the Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca.

Today we welcomed an important Russian business delegation to follow up on the agreements reached during our last visit to Moscow, Díaz-Canel tweeted, while adding that progress is being made very quickly in upholding all discussed with President Putin.

During the Cuban president’s visit to Russia he met with Vladimir Putin, with whom he held official talks to discuss the current state and prospects for the Russian-Cuban development in political, economic-commercial, cultural and humanitarian sectors.
