Over 4,600 Palestinians held in Israel prisons

Ramallah, Sep 12 (Prensa Latina) More than 4,600 Palestinians are currently imprisoned in Israeli jails, including 180 minors and 32 women, the Commission for Prisoners and Former Prisoners, Palestinian Prisoners' Society, Addameer Prisoners' Human Rights and Support Association and Wadi Hilweh Information Center condemned.

According to the statement, Israeli security forces arrested 607 citizens in the West Bank in August only, 148 of them come from East Jerusalem.

The four organizations also condemned the increased violation and attack numbers committed by Israeli settlers and troops.
