Nairobi, Apr 29 (Prensa Latina) The Covid-19 pandemic on Thursday remains unchanged after days in which death and contagion rates increased, according to the report by the Disease Prevention and Control Center (DPCC).
In the past 24 hours, the number of cases with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes this lethal disease, rose to 4,536,416, due to 9,848 new patients, according to Prensa Latina's daily tally based on reports by official sources.
The figure of 10,000 cases is considered acceptable for Sub-Saharan African countries, which are included in the daily DPCC report.
The death toll has risen to 121,128 since the detection of the first case in this region in early 2020.
