Mexico, Dec 12 (Prensa Latina) National leaders of the ruling MORENA National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) on Monday called on the Attorney General's Office to investigate a party held recently by a neo-Nazi group in this capital.
Local and federal deputies urged the Attorney General’s Office to report that a neo-Nazi event had taken place in the Santa Maria la Ribera neighborhood on October 29.
Federal legislator Marisol Gase, other colleagues, and national leaders filed a complaint against those responsible for acts that could constitute crimes against human dignity and discrimination during the party.
After delivering a letter to the Attorney General’s Office, Gase said that this day the clandestine fascist party was held at the El Pentatlon hall with some 300 people and five far-right musical bands: three of Spanish origin and two Mexican.
Tickets cost 1,580 pesos (78 dollars) and during the concert, they chanted hate slogans and gave undeniable Nazi salutes, in addition to the fact that the place was decorated with swastikas, images of Adolf Hitler, and phrases in German.
The Nazi salute accompanied by the words ‘Sieg Heil’ (a German expression used in the political meetings of the Third Reich and which can be translated as ‘Hail, Long Live, Eternal Victory’) became more prominent as the night wore on.
Dozens of members of the audience chanted it between songs, and some of the musicians even made the Hitlerian salute before leaving the stage, she said.
The lawmaker said that she will not allow the revival of death and pain insignias and reiterated that as long as the Fourth Transformation rules, all events that incite racism will be eliminated.
