MINED to offer international pre-event courses

In the next few days, the Cuban Ministry of Education (MINED) will give six pre-event courses as a prelude to the 1st International Workshop on Quality and Sustainable Professional Training, to be held in this city on November 26 to 28.

MSc Alexander Manso Díaz, MINED’s Director of Technical and Professional Education, said that the topics include the qualification for employment based on the Cuban experience, with a view to the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda, as well as the use of AI as methodological tool for Technical Education teachers and the professional training of young people for social entrepreneurship and local development.

The Workshop will address issues such as the socialization of experiences on pedagogical and didactic strategies for the benefit of good, inclusive and gender-focused professional training practices, intended to facilitate young people’s access to adequate jobs and to contribute to the sustainable development of nations.

Themed “Train, Qualify and Employ", the event will gather participants from Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Switzerland, Germany and Spain.
