Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman claims increased Western spending will only lead to a more dramatic conclusion for Ukraine.
The more the West spends on supporting the Ukrainian government, the more "terrifying" its end will be. This was declared on Monday by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, via his Telegram channel.
"The more resources the Western world spends on supporting [Ukraine], the more terrible the end of the story will be for the regime of the bloody clowns of Kyiv," Medvedev wrote.
According to the official, Western countries have transferred half a trillion euros ($576 billion) to Ukraine. From this sum, the Kyiv regime "stole untold amounts," Medvedev noted. "But even considering the ruthless plunder by the Bandera regime, it is still a shameful and colossal amount. With this money, it would have been possible to build a new, neutral, and prosperous Ukraine. But it was not meant to be," he added.

In the same context, he emphasized that the United States, "between 2001 and 2021, squandered $2.3 trillion in Afghanistan to transfer power from the Taliban to the Taliban."
"Everything will happen like what happened to the United States in Afghanistan. Our citizens and the Russian authorities will return to their native Russian lands," summarized the former Russian president.
Russia opposes the continuation of military aid, weapons, and war equipment to Kyiv, asserting that it only serves to prolong the conflict.
