Israel launches massive strikes across Gaza Strip, killing more than 400

Children are among at least 400 Palestinians killed and many wounded in massive Israeli air attacks across the Gaza Strip, the largest strikes since the ceasefire with Hamas started on January 19th.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his "extremist government" are clearly moving to "overturn" the ceasefire. Hamas said it holds Israel’s Netanyahu and the “Nazi Zionist occupation” responsible for the “treacherous” attacks on Gaza’s besieged and defenceless civilians that are reported to have killed more than 400 people.
“Netanyahu and his extremist government are making a decision to overturn the ceasefire agreement, exposing prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate,” Hamas said in a statement posted on social media.
Hamas called on ceasefire mediators to hold Israel responsible, for the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to support Palestinians in “breaking the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip”, and for the UN Security Council to hold an urgent meeting and adopt a resolution obligating Israel to “halt its aggression.”
