Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization today denounced the US bombing of three nuclear sites in this country by stating that the aggression violates international laws.
“In a statement quoted by IRNA official news agency the institution criticized the recently brutal attack, at dawn, on the nuclear facilities of Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
This action, contrary to international law, was unfortunately carried out in the shadow of indifference and even cooperation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), he said.
The statement recalled that these facilities are under the continued supervision of IAEA, pursuant to the Safeguards Agreement and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
We assure our people that “despite the evil conspiracies of their enemies” we will not allow the path of development of this national industry to stop, he stressed.
According to the first reports, the Pentagon used several anti-bunker bombs, launched from B-2 bombers, and fired numerous Tomahawk missiles against the three nuclear sites.
